During one of the last weekends in Decemeber 2024, our hiking crew embarked upon our 2 hikes, 1 day adventure. We visited Aripo Falls and Aripo Blue Basin in the Heights of Aripo, Trinidad. It was a truly spectacular day filled with lots of fun and good vibes.
This was the first stop on our adventure😍 was Aripo Blue Basin. It is one of my favorite spots in Trinidad and Tobago as the waterfall💙 is always so inviting and the view from the top is stunning. I also love seeing the watercress farm which is not something you see on any other trail that I know of. This time I even got free watercress from one of the farmers 🥬 it took us approximately 35 mins to reach to this waterfall from where we parked.
This is what my backyward would look like in my dreams 😴. Aripo Falls💦 was our second waterfall on our 2 waterfalls, 1 day hike adventure. The hiking time is short, in about 5 mins you reach the river from the start of the trail. It is just a downhill trek from the parking spot but it is another gem of Trinidad’s North Coast and although it is an easy, short hike, I love it. 🙏😁
