Book Review: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo 💍 by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Wow….. I have so many mixed emotions after reading this book. At this point, I don’t know if to love Evelyn, her tenacity, her bravery, her self confidence or hate her for her selfishness, her ignorance, her lack of foresight to see how her actions time and time again will hurt the persons closest to her. This book showed you that life really isn’t black and white, people make decisions in the moment that they think is best which in retrospect may not have been, but the thing is, you don’t get do overs, you could only live with the decisions that you made. My rating 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, I am sure you will enjoy it as I have 😄

This book was wonderfully written, it was gripping, it was real, it was honest….although her logic for marrying all these men for various reasons was crazy 🙂 🙃, can I admit?, I get it! While reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, I came to understand Evelyn, to admire her, to like her, this book made you understand why someone could have 7 husbands and how every single one served a purpose and had a story. I never thought I could understand how and why someone had 7 husbands but Evelyn girl, your rationale makes sense to me. Live your best life 🤣.

Overall, this is a book I would highly recommend to any one of my girlfriends. It is a book about life and relationships about the decisions we make, the people we love, how love can hurt but how love can fill a void in our hearts 💕. It is a story that I think everyone can understand on some level whether at the end you love her or you hate her, at least you will come to see the world through her eyes.
